About Me:

Maddox Emory Arnold (he/they) is a speculative fiction writer and educator from Michigan. He holds an MA in Spanish language & literature from Wayne State University, and currently teaches Spanish courses in and around Detroit.

In addition to his published prose and poetry, he is also a volunteer critic with Pencilhouse, as well as a group leader in the Bereket Writing Community. Maddox was also an Assistant Prose Editor in The Hellebore Press' Summer 2023 Terrarium Program. He received a Pushcart nomination for his short story "To Ashes We Return," published in 2022 in The Viridian Door.
